Samsung has introduced its latest Galaxy Book 5 series in India, featuring three models: Galaxy Book 5 Pro, Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 5 360. These new laptops integrate AI-powered functionalities, high-resolution AMOLED displays, and the latest Intel Core Ultra processors.
The Galaxy Book 5 lineup is powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 processors, featuring a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) to enhance AI-based tasks. The laptops offer up to 32GB of RAM and three storage configurations—256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Samsung claims the new Lunar Lake architecture significantly improves efficiency, reducing system-on-chip (SoC) power consumption by 40 per cent while tripling AI processing power.
The series introduces AI-driven features such as Photo Remaster and AI Select, along with Microsoft Phone Link, Quick Share, and Multi-Control for seamless integration across Galaxy devices. Samsung Knox provides security enhancements.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro features a 14-inch AMOLED display with a 3K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy Book 5 360 includes a 15.6-inch Full-HD AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, while the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 boasts a 16-inch AMOLED display with a 3K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
For audio, the Galaxy Book 5 360 has stereo speakers, whereas the Pro and Pro 360 versions are equipped with quad speakers, all supporting Dolby Atmos. The lineup includes a 2MP full-HD webcam, which Samsung states has received an upgrade for improved video call quality.
Samsung claims the Galaxy Book 5 series offers up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge. The laptops support fast charging and include multiple connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
